Lurie Children’s Hospital
Cabinet was privileged to choose and art direct several outstanding artists to create almost 100 new works of illuminated illustration, soft sculpture, mural art, dioramas, collage, photographs, and more for The Lurie Children's Hospital 17th. floor, serving young people with hematology, oncology, neuro oncology and stem cell transplant challenges. This project was made possible by the Pritzker Family, Ace Hardware, The Brach Family, The Chicago Children's Museum, Lisa Morgan Mulvaney, Michael Coon, Kass Copeland, Shayne Taylor, Jillian Gryzlak, and Natalie Whalen. Frank collaborated with the medical team, the floor families, and patients to collectively design the gallery of art.
“Frank gathered a group of incredibly talented artists to help create an engaging, healing environment for our patients, families and staff on the 17th floor of Lurie Children’s. He thoughtfully orchestrated the work of these many artists, and collaborated with our team of patients, medical, facilities, and foundation staff. The result was an entire floor featuring meaningful and magical artwork in many mediums.”
