Frank was trained in animation and soon found he was drawn to puppetry and material objects, pursuing the desire to realize animation through live theatre experiences. He has worked on enormous scales, designing events as innovative interactive experiences, while also working resourcefully to creatively alter the stage of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra or the exterior façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
